Hop On Hop Off City Bus Tour in Frankfurt Germany

Tour Frankfurt on a double decker bus

Tour Frankfurt on a double decker bus

With so many Frankfurt sightseeing attractions, deciding which is the most extraordinary is no easy task. But, this Hop On Hop Off City Bus Tour gives you the opportunity to see many of them and make your own choices.

The city skyline - the modern landmark of this business and finance metropolis - welcomes visitors from afar. At the city centre, one finds St. Paul's Church, the historical Römer, Frankfurt Cathedral and the Goethe-House - all within close proximity to one another, yet still within sight of the modern banking district.

Also seen on this tour are the Frankfurt Zoo and the 43-metre-tall Goethe Tower, which is Germany's tallest wooden observation platform - and you can hop off to visit the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History that portrays the history of life on our planet since the beginning of time. Leave time to refresh yourself at Fressgass - Frankfurt's main pedestrian promenade and culinary mile features countless cafés, restaurants, bistros, delicatessens and speciality shops, perfect for lovers of fine food and wine.

Your ticket is valid for the entire day (during operating hours), but if you take the city tour straight through without hopping off and on, the tour will last 60 minutes until you return to the starting point. If you are not familiar with Frankfurt, you may want to ride the tour straight through the first time around, in order to form your ideas of where you want to hop off and back on to see the attractions that are of most interest to you.

The buses come around to each stop approximately every 60 minutes from Monday through Thursday, and approximately every 30 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. During peak summer months, the frequency is often every 30 minutes throughout the week.

This tour operates rain or shine, all year round except: January 1, July 5, July 18, September 6, October 25, December 25, and December 26.

Pre-recorded tour narration is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, and Korean.
